Popcorn-eating Monsters gather for one last time this year!

It's nearing the end of the school year, and that means it's time for book clubs to wrap it up! We gathered for one last time to talk about the books we're reading (Lois Lowry's The GiverThe Host by Stephanie Meyer, and The Amulet Bk.5 by Kazu Kibuishi, to name a few), to talk about movies we've seen or would like to see (The Host, The Great Gatsby...), to talk about this year's Isinglass Award Winner (Divergent by Veronica Roth-movie coming in 2014!,) to talk about next year's list of Isinglass nominees (click here for a complete list), and just....to talk!!!!
Oh--we also ate delicious ice-cream sundaes that we made ourselves---yum!
It's hard to say good-bye, but we'll see each other over the summer---and there's always next year!

Book Review: REGINES BOOK

Hi, Cassandra here with a great book review! I would highly recommend REGINES BOOK: a teen girls last words. It is an amazing book about a girl who blogs about her terminal cancer. It is really sad, but draws you in by the second page. Regine, the main character (and writer) has leukemia and has a short amount of time to live. She is very young, seventeen going on eighteen but lives life to the fullest. This book is set up like the blog. She lives in Norway, so the blog online is in Norwegian. The link is http://sinober.blogg.no. The end is very touching and has a valuable lesson. Living life to the fullest. This a book that I helped Miss Sarah pick out from a Voya catalog. I hope everyone has a chance to read this great book. Have a box of tissues at the ready!! :)

Reading Rabbits

Rabbit Reading A Book!!

Movie Review

Loved the beggining of the Hobbit Movie how they did the flashback, and the younger Balin. I also loved how they added Radagast.

Unenchanted

Hi, Cassandra here, with another book review. I recently read a book called Unenchanted and it was amazing. I read it on a Kindle and there are two books in the series, and a third one coming out soon!!
This book is about a girl who is the receiver of a family curse. The curse is the Grimms' fairy tale curse. This was amazing!! I hope the library gets the two books, Unenchanted and Fairest.
