Archery in Motion meets the Ranger's Apprentice
Join the instructors from Archery-in-Motion and Miss Sarah from the
library for an afternoon program mash-up introducing the wonderful
world of archery and the exciting book series, The Ranger's Apprentice
by John Flanagan.
We'll listen to some excerpts of archery-action from the books, and
then get a chance to see, hear about, and get our hands on the real
thing. Weather permitting, we may even get a chance to get outside and
try to hit a target!
Maybe you'll decide you want to learn more about archery--maybe
you'll decide you want to read this wonderful series--we hope you'll do
both!
Space is limited, so please register early. For kids who will be entering 6th grade and up.

'Dreamsleeves' Book and Craft Program for Teens
In celebration of our summer theme, 'Dream Big---Read', we'll be reading Dreamsleeves a
wonderful new book by Coleen Paratore. Like Aislinn, the main
character, we'll be thinking about our dreams, talking about our dreams,
and then decorating the t-shirts we bring in to reflect those dreams.
If you love to read, you'll love this book---if you love craft projects,
you'll love embellishing your t-shirt. Either way, come and join us
for this one-time event! Space is limited, so please register as early
as possible. Copies of the book will be available beginning July 9.
Please bring a t-shirt of your choice (preferably long-sleeved) with
you, to decorate--all other materials will be provided. For kids
entering grades 6 and up.
